Conventional classes stimulate communal learning, promote the delivery of highly-dynamic instructions, outperform online courses in terms of hiring preferences, and enable institutions to provide learners with easily-accessible auxiliary tools and resources, thereby maximizing student performance.
However, in the modern world, technological advancements have made it easier for students to learn effectively through web-based platforms.
People need virtual classes to learn while managing their time and personal issues, utilize surplus time to improve their performance, enjoy a variety of program choices, and express their voices online, especially those who cannot work in the classroom setting.
Although virtual and traditional classes are very different, it is proved that these learning modes have a negligible difference in student outcomes in non-STEM courses.
Work-life Balance and Lower Costs
Examination supervision reduces opportunities for cheating in the traditional classroom, while using web-based platforms increases the likelihood of online academic dishonesty. For this reason, instructors are likely to make measurement errors when assessing online students.
